     George Edwin Selwyn Young was born on 25 May 1857 at Norfolk Island.1 He was the son of Simon Young and Mary Buffett Christian.1 He married Sarah Grace Young, daughter of Moses Young and Albina McCoy, on 24 May 1877 at Pitcairn Island.1 He died on 11 October 1893 at age 36 at Pitcairn Island, in the typhus epidemic.1
     In 1864 he was a mong the second wave of returnees from Norfolk to Pitcairn.1

     Sarah Grace Young was born on 9 February 1856 at Pitcairn Island.1 She was the daughter of Moses Young and Albina McCoy.1 She married George Edwin Selwyn Young, son of Simon Young and Mary Buffett Christian, on 24 May 1877 at Pitcairn Island.1 She died on 21 November 1921 at age 65 at Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.2
     In 1859 she was among the first wave of returnees from Norfolk to Pitcairn.1
