Mary Elaine Lodder was born on 24 May 1907.1 She married Spencer Harry John Clapp, son of Harry Clapp and Ethel Florrie Claire Dufty, in 1930.1 She died on 18 June 1997 at age 90 at Norfolk Island.1
She was a tennis player, lawn bowler, keen gardener, great cook, and horse
rider. In later years, dogged with arthritis, 3 broken hips, and general ill
health, she maintained her happy demeanor. She was the daughter of Albert &
Bertha Lodder.1 Reference: 'MARGE.1' Her married name became Clapp.1
