     Fay Norma Bataille was born on 22 August 1926 at Norfolk Island.1 She was the daughter of Louis Victor Bataille and Emma Petherbridge.1 She died on 13 October 1995 at age 69 at Norfolk Island.1
     Received an award for distinguished public service for her work with the
Girl Guides. Long time Sunday School teacher. Unmarried. A Hall and a Park
bear her name on Norfolk. Her other interests included the Agricultural and
Horticultural Society, the C. of. E. Parish Council, and the local Sunshine
Club, a charitable organization. She was appointed an M.B.E. in 1968, and
received the Medal of the Order of Australia in 1986.1 She was Schoolteacher.1
