     Colonel Richard Donaldson married Hon. Charlotte Agnes Mary Preston, daughter of Edward Anthony John Preston, 13th Viscount Gormanston and Lucretia Jerningham, on 21 June 1870.1 He died on 27 May 1898, without issue.1
     He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).1 He lived at Hartlands, County Meath, Ireland.1

     Gertrude Frances Jerningham was born on 31 July 1811.2 She was the daughter of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright.1 She married Sir Edward Charles Blount, son of Edward Blount and Frances Wright, on 18 November 1834.2 She died on 9 November 1897 at age 86.1
      Her married name became Blount.

     Sir Edward Charles Blount was born on 14 March 1809.1 He was the son of Edward Blount and Frances Wright.1 He married Gertrude Frances Jerningham, daughter of William Charles Jerningham and Anne Wright, on 18 November 1834.2 He died on 15 March 1905 at age 96.1
     He was Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).2 He was Consul to Paris in 1871.1 He was decorated with the award of the Legion of Honour.1 He was invested as a Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.).1 He lived at Imberhorne, Sussex, England.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3

Bernard Ward, 1st Viscount Bangor1

     Bernard Ward, 1st Viscount Bangor was born in August 1719.1 He was the son of Michael Ward and Anne Catharina Hamilton.1 He was baptised on 6 September 1719.1 He married Lady Ann Bligh, daughter of John Bligh, 1st Earl of Darnley and Theodosia Hyde, Baroness Clifton (of Leighton Bromswold), in December 1747.1 He died on 20 May 1781 at age 61 at Castle Ward, County Down, Ireland.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Down between 1745 and 1770.1 He was created 1st Baron Bangor, of Castle Ward, co. Down [Ireland] on 30 May 1770.1 He lived at Bangor, County Down, Ireland.1 He was created 1st Viscount Bangor, of Castle Ward, co. Down [Ireland] on 11 January 1781.1
