     Mary Rice is the daughter of Edward Rice and Alice Shiercliffe.1,2 She married Richard Blennerhassett, son of Henry Blennerhassett and Dorcas Crumpe, with two daughters.2
     Her married name became Blennerhassett.2

     Arthur Ellershaw was born on 27 February 1869 at Bridlington, Yorkshire, England.1 He died on 16 July 1929 at age 60.1
     Son of the Rev. John Ellershaw. Educated at Westminster School, RMA Woolwich.
Entered RA 1888 (Captain 1889, Major 1909, Lt. Col. 1916, Col. 1921). Served
Northwest Frontier India (1897-8). Severely wounded (4 Queen's Medals with
clasps) 1903-4. European War (1914-8). Retired 1925. In 1926, he m2 to
Nora Mary Middleton, daughter of J.T. Middleton, of Woking.1 He was Brigadier General, RA.1
