     John Walter de Longueville Giffard was born in 1817.1 He was the son of Stanley Lees Giffard and Susanna Meares Moran.2 He married Emilie Scott, daughter of D. B. Scott.1 He died on 23 October 1888.1
     John Walter de Longueville Giffard graduated from Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1843 entitled to practice as a barrister.1 He held the office of Judge of the County Courts.1

     Hardinge Frank Giffard was born in 1860.1 He was the son of John Walter de Longueville Giffard and Emilie Scott.2 He married Evelyn Alice Chambers, daughter of Sydney Chambers, on 19 June 1900.1 He died on 11 October 1908.1
     Hardinge Frank Giffard was a practising barrister.1 He graduated from Merton College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.).1 He was Secretary to the Commisioners in Lunacy between 1895 and 1900.1 He was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).1 He was Private Secretary to the Lord Chancellor.1 He held the office of Commissioner in Lunacy between 1900 and 1908.1

     Commander Roger Granville Giffard was born on 23 May 1905.1 He was the son of Hardinge Frank Giffard and Evelyn Alice Chambers.2 He married Phyllis Ellershaw, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Wilfred Ellershaw and Catherine Ingles, on 30 January 1936.1 He died on 16 February 1982 at age 76, without issue.1
     Commander Roger Granville Giffard gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Brig.-Gen. Wilfred Ellershaw was the son of Reverend John Ellershaw.2 He married Catherine Ingles, daughter of Rear-Admiral John Ingles and Catherine Sophia Glennie, on 22 June 1899.2 He died on 5 June 1916, drowned in the sinking of H.M.S. Hampshire off Scapa Flow.2
     Brig.-Gen. Wilfred Ellershaw gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the First World War.2 He was Aide-de-Camp to Lord Kitchener.2
