     Addie Hagar Quintal was born on 23 May 1887 at Norfolk Island.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Quintal and Lucy Emily Christian.¹ She died on 20 March 1907 at age 19 at Norfolk Island.¹

     Lester Berley Quintal was born on 11 May 1889 at Norfolk Island.¹ He was the son of Joseph Quintal and Lucy Emily Christian.¹ He died on 3 October 1889 at age 0 at Norfolk Island.¹

     Edward Lester Quintal was born on 20 June 1891 at Norfolk Island.¹ He was the son of Joseph Quintal and Lucy Emily Christian.¹ He died on 2 May 1919 at age 27 at Norfolk Island.¹
     Served with the New Zealand Expeditionary Forces, in World War I.¹

     Henry Welchman Quintal was born on 20 February 1893 at Norfolk Island.¹ He was the son of Joseph Quintal and Lucy Emily Christian.¹

     Dr. Jennifer Lesley Armstrong married Francis Julian Blake, son of Sir Francis Michael Blake, 3rd Bt. and Joan Ashbridge Miller, on 1 September 2000.¹
     From 1 September 2000, her married name became Blake.¹

     John Jackson married Evelina Eglantine Christian, daughter of Charles Driver Christian and Maria Lucy Christian, on 14 January 1879 at Norfolk Island.¹ He died in 1910 at Norfolk Island.¹
     We don't know anything at all about him, so this is all speculation. John was said to have died in 1910 at 100 years of age. I strongly doubt that, as it means he was about 80 years old when he had his last child ... that WOULD have been interesting! I suspect he was probably about 80 when he died, and was likely born in about 1830. Because of that date, and because of his probable lack of knowledge of his own birthdate, my guess is that he was likely an African slave, born somewhere on that continent. It was very common for people with that background to look older than they actually were, due to a hard life, and most did not know when they were born. If he was indeed born about 1830, that would have made him about 20 at the time of the US Civil War, which abolished slavery. It would make a lot of sense that he probably fought in that war, and after the war, probably went into some sort of business. As a relatively recent arrival from Africa (compared with families who had been enslaved for generations), he was probably much more dynamic and rebellious at the condition in which he found himself, and this may have led to relative success in whatever he was doing. My guess would then be that he came to Norfolk at about the age of 50, plenty of time for him to have gathered enough money to come, and still young enough to have his 7 children with his younger wife.¹

     John Edward Jackson was born on 10 August 1881 at Norfolk Island.¹ He was the son of John Jackson and Evelina Eglantine Christian.¹

     Charles Fletcher Jackson was born on 21 November 1883 at Norfolk Island.¹ He was the son of John Jackson and Evelina Eglantine Christian.¹
     Served with the 17th BN, New Zealand Expeditionary Forces, during World War I.¹

     Lucy Ann Jackson was born on 29 July 1885 at Norfolk Island.¹ She was the daughter of John Jackson and Evelina Eglantine Christian.¹ She married Edward Jhon Opgenhaeffen on 18 October 1912 at Norfolk Island.¹
     Lucy Ann Jackson also went by the nick-name of Loottie. From 18 October 1912, her married name became Opgenhaeffen.¹

     Edward Jhon Opgenhaeffen was born circa 1870 at Rotterdam, The Netherlands.¹ He married Lucy Ann Jackson, daughter of John Jackson and Evelina Eglantine Christian, on 18 October 1912 at Norfolk Island.¹
