     He held the office of High Sheriff of County Kilkenny in 1884.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Kilkenny.¹ He lived at Bonnettstown, County Kilkenny, Ireland.¹

     He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.).¹ He was decorated with the award of the Distinguished Flying Cross (D.F.C.).¹ He gained the rank of Wing Commander in the service of the Royal Air Force.¹

     Caroline Anne Honey Blake was born on 6 October 1948.¹ She is the daughter of Sir Francis Edward Colquhoun Blake, 2nd Bt. and Doreen Maud Sample.¹ She married Adam Henville Simonds in 1975.¹
      From 1975, her married name became Simonds.¹ She lived in 2003 at 31 Lauder Road, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland.¹

     Adam Henville Simonds married Caroline Anne Honey Blake, daughter of Sir Francis Edward Colquhoun Blake, 2nd Bt. and Doreen Maud Sample, in 1975.¹ He died in 1989.¹
