     Rowland Ponsonby Blennerhassett was born on 22 July 1850.1 He was the son of Richard Francis Blennerhassett and Honoria Ponsonby.1 He married Mary Beatrice Armstrong, daughter of Walter Armstrong, on 21 September 1876.1 He died on 7 April 1913 at age 62.1
     Rowland Ponsonby Blennerhassett held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Kerry between 1872 and 1885.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 He held the office of Bencher of the Inner Temple.1 He was invested as a King's Counsel (K.C.).1 He lived at Kells, County Kerry, Ireland.1
