     Captain Charles David McKinnon Blunt was born on 3 July 1865.1 He was the son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Harris Blunt and Mary Augusta Tod.1 He died on 30 January 1948 at age 82, unmarried.1
     Captain Charles David McKinnon Blunt fought in the Riels Rebellion in 1885.1 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 4th Battalion, Seaforth Highlanders.1 He fought in the Boer War in 1899.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914.1
