George Romualdo Juarez1

     George Romualdo Juarez was born on 4 July 1879 at Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A.G.1 He was the son of Leandro Francisco Juarez and Maria Soledad del Refugio Ayala.1 He married Guadalupe Arevalo on 23 September 1901 at Altar, Sonora, MexicoG.1 He died on 23 December 1918 at age 39 at Mexico City, MexicoG.1
     When he was a child of 8, the Southern Pacific Railroad came to Santa Barbara, and he was fascinated, spending much of his time at the roundhouse. He started running errands for the office, taught himself morse code, and in his early 20's, he was offered a position as a bilingual dispatcher for the railroad in Mexico. Over the years, he advanced steadily, and was appointed chairman of pullman service for all of Mexico. In addition, he inaugurated and managed the dining car concession (known as 'Systema Juarez') for the railroad. He was also very involved in politics. Very dissatisfied with the regime of Porfirio Diaz, he joined with a group of supporters to replace him with Carranza, a personal friend of his. He died of complications of lifelong diabetes, and of the influenza epidemic of 1918. (Wilson: From Mission to Majesty.)1

     Her married name became Juarez.1

     George Anselmo Alejandro Juarez was born on 21 April 1903 at Magdalena, Sonora, MexicoG.1 He is the son of George Romualdo Juarez and Guadalupe Arevalo.1 He married Inez Katherine Conley on 25 July 1924 at Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.G.1
     He studied business management and English at the American School in Mexico City, and later at San Luis College in San Antonio, TX. When his father died, he was called upon to manage the dining car concession for the Southern Railroad of Mexico. He emigrated to the USA in 1922. (Wilson: From Mission to Majesty.)1

     An actress in Hollywood, CA. In 1923, she performed the role of a Tahitian
princess in the film 'Where the Pavement Ends' with Ramon Navarro. Little
did she know that she would soon marry the descendant of a real 'Tahitian
