Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. was born circa 1589.1 He was the son of Sir William Blakiston and Jane Lambton.1 He married, firstly, Margaret Fenwick, daughter of Sir William Fenwick.1 He married, secondly, Frances Wren, daughter of Sir Charles Wren.2 He died circa December 1650.2 He was buried on 20 December 1650 at Whickham, County Durham, EnglandG.2 He died intestate and his estate was administered to a creditor on 14 February 1650/51.2
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 3 May 1608.1 He was created 1st Baronet Blakiston, of Gibside, in the Bishopric of Durham [England] on 30 July 1642.1

     Sir William Blakiston, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fenwick.1 He married Hon. Mary Calvert, daughter of Cecil Calvert, 2nd Baron Baltimore and Hon. Anne Arundell.1 He died circa February 1692, without surviving issue.1 He was buried on 26 February 1692 at Whickham, County Durham, EnglandG.1
     He was admitted to Gray's Inn on 10 February 1640/41.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Blakiston, of Gibside, in the Bishopric of Durham [E., 1642] circa December 1650.1
