     Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt. was the son of Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fenwick.1 He married Anne Bowes, daughter of Sir George Bowes.1 He died on 8 October 1713, without male issue.1 He was buried on 11 October 1713 at Whickham, County Durham, England.1
     Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Blakiston, of Gibside, in the Bishopric of Durham [E., 1642] circa February 1692.1
     On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.1

     Anne Bowes was the daughter of Sir George Bowes.1 She married Sir Francis Blakiston, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Ralph Blakiston, 1st Bt. and Margaret Fenwick.1 She died circa January 1700/1.1 She was buried on 26 January 1700/1 at Whickham, County Durham, England.1
     Her married name became Blakiston.1

     Sir Matthew Blakiston, 3rd Bt. was born on 13 May 1783 at Athlone, Ireland.1 He was the son of Sir Matthew Blakiston, 2nd Bt. and Anne Rochefort.1 He married Lucy Mann, daughter of James Mann and Lucy Mann, on 12 April 1810.1 He died on 23 December 1862 at age 79 at Sandybrook Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England.1
     Sir Matthew Blakiston, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Blakiston, of London [G.B., 1763] on 20 September 1806.1 He lived at Sandybrook Hall, Ashbourne, Derbyshire, England.1
