Sir Richard William Boord, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 November 1907.1 He was the son of Alexander Edgar Boord and Coralie Mary Hoskier.1 He married, firstly, Yvonne Swingler Bird, daughter of Joseph Arthur Hubert Bird, on 9 March 1933.1 He and Yvonne Swingler Bird were divorced in 1944.1 He married, secondly, Ethel El Marie Moline, daughter of Hermann A. Moline, on 17 June 1944.1 He died on 12 December 1975 at age 68.1
Sir Richard William Boord, 3rd Bt. was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, England.1 He was educated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.1 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Boord, of Wakehurst Place, co. Sussex [U.K., 1896] on 26 May 1928.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the service of the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1
