     Robert Jones was the son of Oliver Jones and Mary Button.1 He married Mary Edwin, daughter of Sir Humphrey Edwin, in 1703.2 He died in 1715.2
     Robert Jones held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1710.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1713.1 He lived at Fonmon Castle, Barry, Glamorgan, Wales.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Glamorgan in 1715.1
