     Michael Robin Nani-Mocenigo Johnsen was born on 24 February 1941.1 He is the son of Captain William Olaus Charles Johnsen and Ethel May Bowater.1 He married Contessa Virginia Nani-Mocenigo, daughter of Conte G. B. Nani-Mocenigo, on 11 May 1966.1
     Michael Robin Nani-Mocenigo Johnsen usually went by his middle name of Robin.1 He was baptised with the name of Michael Robin Johnsen.1 He was educated at Millfield School, Street, Somerset, England.1 On 2 August 1968 his name was legally changed to Michael Robin Nani-Mocenigo Johnsen.1 He lived in 2003 at Via Schaffer 28, Merano, Italy.1
