     Elizabeth Wood was born circa 1692. She was the daughter of John Wood.1 She married Sir Edward Smyth, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Edward Smyth, 2nd Bt. and Jane Vandeput.1 She died on 23 May 1748, without issue.1,2 She was buried on 31 May 1748 at Theydon Mount, Essex, England.1 Her will (dated 23 July 1745) was probated on 7 June 1748.1
     Her married name became Smyth.1
