     Joan Windham was born on 13 April 1904.1 She was the daughter of Ashe Windham and Cora Ellen Sowerby Middleton.1 She married, firstly, Brigadier Ord Henderson Tidbury, son of Colonel James Tidbury, on 8 May 1959.1 She married, secondly, Major Hugh D'Oyly Lyle, son of Colonel Hugh Thomas Lyle and Alice Fanny D'Oyly, on 20 September 1964.1 She died on 19 December 1990 at age 86.1
     From 8 May 1959, her married name became Tidbury.1 She was registered as a Member, Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (M.C.S.P.)1 From 20 September 1964, her married name became Lyle.1

Brigadier Ord Henderson Tidbury1

     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Welch Fusiliers.1

Colonel Hugh Thomas Lyle1

     Colonel Hugh Thomas Lyle married Alice Fanny D'Oyly, daughter of Sir Warren Hastings D'Oyly, 10th Bt. and Henrietta Mary Halliday, on 24 June 1886.2 He died on 24 January 1942.2

     Ruth Windham was born in 1912.1 She is the daughter of Ashe Windham and Cora Ellen Sowerby Middleton.1 She married, firstly, Robert Bellord, son of Edmund Joseph Bellord, on 21 January 1938.1 She and Robert Bellord were divorced in 1962.1 She married, secondly, Brigadier John Henry Patrick Woodroffe in 1972.1
     From 21 January 1938, her married name became Bellord.1 From 1972, her married name became Woodroffe.1 She lived in 2003 at Little Beechford, Childe Okeford, Dorset, EnglandG.1
