     Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt. was born circa 1618.1 He was the son of Sir Matthew Boynton, 1st Bt. and Frances Griffith.1 He married Constance Fiennes, daughter of William Fiennes, 1st Viscount Say and Sele and Elizabeth Temple, on 7 March 1637.1 He died on 9 September 1695.2 He was buried on 16 September 1695 at Barmston, Yorkshire, England.2
     Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt. succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] circa March 1646/47.1 On 20 February 1654 he succeeded to the estate of Burton Agnes, on the death of his maternal uncle, Sir Henry Griffith, 2nd Bt.1 He gained the rank of Colonel in 1665 in the service of the Regiment of Militia.1

     Sir Henry Griffith, 2nd Bt. was the son of Sir Henry Griffith, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Throckmorton.1 He died on 20 February 1654.1
     Sir Henry Griffith, 2nd Bt. gained the title of 2nd Baronet Griffith.

     Constance Fiennes was the daughter of William Fiennes, 1st Viscount Say and Sele and Elizabeth Temple.1,2 She married Sir Francis Boynton, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Matthew Boynton, 1st Bt. and Frances Griffith, on 7 March 1637.1 She died circa August 1692.2 She was buried on 2 September 1692 at Barmston, Yorkshire, England.2
     From 7 March 1637, her married name became Boynton.1

     Sir Griffith Boynton, 3rd Bt. was born on 8 December 1664 at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, England.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. William Boynton and Elizabeth Bernard.1 He married, firstly, Adriana Sykes, daughter of John Sykes, in 1712 at Chamlesford, Yorkshire, England.1 He married, secondly, Rebecca White, daughter of John White, in November 1728 at London, England.1 He died on 22 December 1731 at age 67 at Ormond Street, Middlesex, England, without issue.1 He was buried at Burton Agnes, Yorkshire, England.1 His will was probated in April 1732.1
     Sir Griffith Boynton, 3rd Bt. succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Boynton, of Barmston, co. York [E., 1618] on 9 September 1695.1
