Sir Robert Marsham, 4th Bt.1

     Sir Robert Marsham, 4th Bt. was born on 16 December 1650.2 He was the son of Sir John Marsham, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hammond.2 He married Margaret Bosville, daughter of Thomas Bosville and Elizabeth Wyatt, on 12 December 1681.2 He died on 26 July 1703 at age 52.2
     He was educated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was admitted to Middle Temple.2 He was Clerk in Chancery in 1680.2 He was appointed Knight in 1681.2 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Marsham, of Whorn's Place, Cuxton, Kent [E., 1663] on 13 May 1696.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Maidstone between 1698 and 1702.2

     Margaret Bosville was the daughter of Thomas Bosville and Elizabeth Wyatt.1,3 She married Sir Robert Marsham, 4th Bt., son of Sir John Marsham, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Hammond, on 12 December 1681.4 She died in 1710.2
     From 12 December 1681, her married name became Marsham.

     Thomas Bosville was the son of Sir Thomas Bosville.2 He married Elizabeth Wyatt, daughter of Sir Francis Wyatt and Margaret Sandys.2 He died on 20 November 1660.3
     He lived at Little Mote, Eynsford, Kent, England.4

     Mary Hales was the daughter of Sir Thomas Hales, 2nd Bt. and Mary Pym.1 She married Sir Brook Bridges, 1st Bt., son of Brook Bridges and Mary Lewen, before 1724.1 She died on 6 July 1724.1
     From before 1724, her married name became Bridges.1

     Sir Brook Bridges, 2nd Bt. was born on 12 March 1708/9 at Goodneston, Kent, EnglandG.1 He was the son of Sir Brook Bridges, 1st Bt. and Margaretta Marsham.1 He married Elizabeth Palmer, daughter of Sir Thomas Palmer, 4th Bt. and Elizabeth Marsham, circa 1732.1 He died on 23 May 1733 at age 24.1
     He matriculated at Christ Church, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 10 June 1726.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Bridges, of Goodneston, co. Kent [G.B., 1718] on 16 March 1727/28.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Kent from 14 December 1732 to May 1733.1

     Elizabeth Marsham was born on 21 September 1683.2 She was the daughter of Sir Robert Marsham, 4th Bt. and Margaret Bosville.1,2 She married Sir Thomas Palmer, 4th Bt., son of Herbert Palmer, on 18 November 1700.2 She died in 1714.2
     From 18 November 1700, her married name became Palmer.1
