Sir Walter Brisco, 2nd Bt. was born on 17 May 1778 at St. Marylebone, London, England.1 He was the son of Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt. and Caroline Alicia Fleming.3,1 He married Sarah Lester Ladbrooke, daughter of Robert Ladbrooke, on 18 November 1806. He died on 1 October 1862 at age 84.3
Sir Walter Brisco, 2nd Bt. matriculated at Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, on 26 October 1797.1 He graduated from Christ Church College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, in 1800 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).1 He was admitted to Inner Temple on 12 February 1801.1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 19 November 1801.1 He succeeded to the title of 2nd Baronet Brisco, of Crofton Place, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1782] on 27 December 1805.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland between 1813 and 1814.1

Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt. was born on 15 May 1739.1 He was the son of Reverend John Brisco and Catherine Hylton.2,3 He married Caroline Alicia Fleming, daughter of Gilbert Fane Fleming and Lady Camilla Bennet, on 8 July 1776. He died on 27 December 1805 at age 66 at Bath, Somerset, England.3 He was buried on 3 January 1806 at Bath Abbey, Bath, Somerset, England.3 His will was probated in February 1806.3
Sir John Brisco, 1st Bt. held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland from 1778 to 1779.3 He was created 1st Baronet Brisco, of Crofton Place, co. Cumberland [Great Britain] on 11 July 1782, with a special remainder to his brother, Horton.2
