Sir Robert Brisco, 3rd Bt. was born on 17 September 1808 at Crofton Hall, Wigton, Cumberland, England.2 He was the son of Sir Walter Brisco, 2nd Bt. and Sarah Lester Ladbrooke.1,2 He married Annie Drewry Rimington, daughter of George Rimington, on 10 July 1832. He died on 23 December 1884 at age 76 at Crofton Hall, Wigton, Cumberland, England.2
Sir Robert Brisco, 3rd Bt. was educated at Midhurst Grammar School.2 He gained the rank of Captain in 1843 in the service of the Westmorland and Cumberland Yeomanry.2 He succeeded to the title of 3rd Baronet Brisco, of Crofton Place, co. Cumberland [G.B., 1782] on 1 October 1862.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Cumberland in 1868.2

Hon. Augustus George Legge and Honora Bagot, on 15 December 1825.1 He died on 11 June 1853 at age 53.2
