     William Bird Brodie was born on 26 September 1780.1 He was the son of Reverend Peter Bellinger Brodie and Sarah Collins.1 He married, firstly, Louisa Hussey, daughter of Thomas Hussey, on 18 October 1810.1 He married, secondly, Frances Huntley, daughter of Reverend Richard Huntley, on 5 March 1826.1 He died in 1863.1
     William Bird Brodie held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Salisbury.1

     Louisa Hussey was the daughter of Thomas Hussey.1 She married William Bird Brodie, son of Reverend Peter Bellinger Brodie and Sarah Collins, on 18 October 1810.1 She died on 28 March 1816.1
     From 18 October 1810, her married name became Brodie.1
