Ann Clitherow was the daughter of Lt.-Col. Thomas Claud Clitherow.1 She married Sir Edward William Brooksbank, 2nd Bt., son of Lt.-Col. Edward York Brooksbank and Hazel Thomas, on 21 December 1943. She died in July 1999.2
