     Lady Janet Ogilvy was born circa 1695.2 She was the daughter of James Ogilvy, 4th Earl of Findlater and Anne Dunbar.1 She married, firstly, Hugh Forbes of Craigievar, younger before 1719.3 She married, secondly, William Duff, 1st Earl Fife, son of William Duff and Helen Gordon, on 19 September 1719 at Cullen, Banffshire, Scotland.2 She died on 25 December 1720 at Banffshire, Scotland, without issue.1,2
     From before 1719, her married name became Forbes.3 From 19 September 1719, her married name became Duff.2

     Hon. William Duff was born on 26 March 1724 at Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of William Duff, 1st Earl Fife and Jean Grant.1 He died on 26 March 1753 at age 29 at London, England, without issue.1
