     William Duff was born in 1653.2 He was the son of Alexander Duff of Keithmore and Helen Grant.1 He married, firstly, Helen Gordon, daughter of George Gordon of Edinglassie, in 1681.2,1 He married, secondly, Jean Dunbar, daughter of Sir William Dunbar of Durn, 1st Bt. and Janet Brodie, on 5 March 1702/3.2,1 He died on 1 May 1722 at Dipple, Banffshire, Scotland.2
     William Duff lived at Dipple, Banffshire, Scotland.1

     Helen Gordon is the daughter of George Gordon of Edinglassie.1 She married William Duff, son of Alexander Duff of Keithmore and Helen Grant, in 1681.2,1
     Helen Gordon was also known as Jean Gordon.2 From 1681, her married name became Duff.

     Helen Duff was born in 1682.1 She was the daughter of William Duff and Helen Gordon.1 She married William Sutherland on 22 October 1702.1 She died in July 1746.1
     From 22 October 1702, her married name became Sutherland.1

     Catherine Duff was born in 1683 at Dipple, Banffshire, Scotland.1 She was the daughter of William Duff and Helen Gordon.1 She married Alexander Duff, 1st of Hatton, son of Patrick Duff and Anne Innes, in 1709.1 She died on 20 December 1758.1

     John Duff was born in 1807.1 He was the son of Garden Duff, 8th of Hatton and Louisa Dunbar.1 He died in 1829, from rapid consumption (supposedly from a fall from the top of a coach).1
