     Patrick Duff was born in 1655 at Craigston, Scotland.2 He was the son of Alexander Duff of Keithmore and Helen Grant.1 He married, firstly, Anne Innes, daughter of John Innes, 5th of Edingight, in 1687.1 He married, secondly, Mary Urquhart on 4 October 1701.2 He died on 3 August 1731.2
     
     He also has another two daughters by his second wife.2

     Anne Innes was the daughter of John Innes, 5th of Edingight.2 She married Patrick Duff, son of Alexander Duff of Keithmore and Helen Grant, in 1687.1 She died in 1700.3
     From 1687, her married name became Duff.

     Alexander Duff, 1st of Hatton was born on 5 January 1687/88 at Grange, Banffshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Patrick Duff and Anne Innes.1 He married Catherine Duff, daughter of William Duff and Helen Gordon, in 1709.1 He died in 1753 at Keithmore, Scotland.1
