Sir Robert Brooke, 1st and last Bt. was born circa 1630.1 He was the son of Sir Richard Broke and Mary Pakington.1 He married, firstly, Anne Tollemache, daughter of Sir Lionel Tollemache, 2nd Bt. and Hon. Elizabeth Stanhope.2 He married, secondly, Martha Thomlinson on 26 May 1685 at St. Sepulchre's, London, England.2 He died on 25 February 1693/94, without male issue.2 His will (dated 16 December 1693) was probated on 3 May 1694.2
Sir Robert Brooke, 1st and last Bt. was created 1st Baronet Brooke, of Netton, co. Suffolk [England] on 21 May 1661.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Suffolk from 1679 to 1680.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Suffolk between 1685 and 1687.2
On his death, his baronetcy became extinct.2
