     Hans Hamilton Howard-Brooke was born on 1 April 1852.1 He was the son of Richard Howard-Brooke and Frances Caroline Hamilton.1 He married Lina Mary Maitland, daughter of Lauderdale Maitland, on 30 March 1880.1 He died on 16 June 1890 at age 38.1
     Hans Hamilton Howard-Brooke gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     From 30 March 1880, her married name became Howard-Brooke.1 From 14 July 1892, her married name became Lovett.1
