     Sir Patrick Ivor Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 9th Bt. was born on 26 July 1916.1 He was the son of Sir Ivor Walter Heron Heron-Maxwell of Springkell, 8th Bt. and Norah Henrietta Parker.2 He married Dorothy Geraldine Emma Mellor, daughter of Claud Paget Mellor, on 9 December 1942.1 He died in 1982.1
     He was educated at Stowe School, Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Maxwell, of Springkell [N.S., 1683] on 19 February 1928.1
