     Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke was born on 3 August 1836.¹ He was the son of George Augustus Frederick Brooke and Lady Arabella Georgina Hastings.¹ He married Ann Isabella Christopher, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Leonard Raisbeck Christopher, on 11 March 1865.¹ He died on 16 August 1880 at age 44, killed in action, in a sortie against Deh Khojah.¹
     Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the service of the 2nd Infantry Brigade, Kandahar.¹

     Ann Isabella Christopher was the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Leonard Raisbeck Christopher.¹ She married Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke, son of George Augustus Frederick Brooke and Lady Arabella Georgina Hastings, on 11 March 1865.¹ She died on 26 August 1927.¹
     From 11 March 1865, her married name became Brooke.¹

     
     Maj.-Gen. Leonard Raisbeck Christopher gained the rank of Major-General in the service of the Indian Staff Corps.¹

     Major George Cecil Brooke was born on 30 December 1870.¹ He was the son of Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke and Ann Isabella Christopher.¹ He married Barbara Allen, daughter of Captain William Henry Allen, on 23 May 1912.¹ He died on 28 April 1915 at age 44, killed in action.¹
     Major George Cecil Brooke fought in the Waziristan Expedition in 1895.¹ He fought in the Malakand Field Force between 1897 and 1898.¹ He fought in the Boxer Rebellion in 1900.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the service of the Border Regiment.¹

     Barbara Allen was the daughter of Captain William Henry Allen.¹ She married Major George Cecil Brooke, son of Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke and Ann Isabella Christopher, on 23 May 1912.¹ She died in 1979.¹

     Commander Henry John Allen Brooke was born on 21 October 1913.¹ He is the son of Major George Cecil Brooke and Barbara Allen.¹ He married Lesley Mary Noble, daughter of Captain Eric Noble, on 21 December 1946.¹
     Commander Henry John Allen Brooke was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, England.¹ He fought in the Spanish Civil War between 1937 and 1938, with the Nyon Patrol.¹ He fought in the Second World War, in the Mediterranean, North African Landings, Artic Convoys and Pacfic, and was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Commander in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He was decorated with the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.) in 1945.¹ He was assistant director of Marine Service, Ministry of Defense (Navy Department) between 1961 and 1974.¹ He retired from the military in 1963.¹ He was invested as a Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.) in 1974.¹ He lived in 2003 at Benbow, Bosham, Chichester, Sussex, England.¹

     Lesley Mary Noble was the daughter of Captain Eric Noble.¹ She married Commander Henry John Allen Brooke, son of Major George Cecil Brooke and Barbara Allen, on 21 December 1946.¹ She died on 8 April 2002.¹
     From 21 December 1946, her married name became Brooke.¹

     Colonel Michael Henry Hastings Brooke was born on 10 March 1948.¹ He is the son of Commander Henry John Allen Brooke and Lesley Mary Noble.¹ He married Philippa Wendy Crowdy, daughter of Brigadier R. C. Crowdy, on 16 October 1971.¹
     Colonel Michael Henry Hastings Brooke was educated at Pangbourne Nautical College, Pangbourne, Berkshire, England.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.¹ He was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1991.¹
