     Maj.-Gen. Alister Grant Dallas was born in 1866.2 He was the son of Alexander Grant Dallas and Jane Douglas.1,2 He married Mabel Alice Brooke, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke and Ann Isabella Christopher, on 27 May 1890.1 He died on 2 February 1931.1
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1 He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 16th Lancers, Simla.2

     Violet Florence Brooke was the daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke and Ann Isabella Christopher.1 She married Colonel Francis Hall, son of Major William James Hall and Florence Selina Brooke, on 15 July 1919.1 She died on 28 April 1936, without issue.1
     She graduated with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 From 15 July 1919, her married name became Hall.1

     Colonel Francis Hall was born on 19 February 1876.2 He was the son of Major William James Hall and Florence Selina Brooke.1,2 He married, firstly, Violet Florence Brooke, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke and Ann Isabella Christopher, on 15 July 1919.1 He married, secondly, Joan Helen Kynaston, daughter of Reverend Edmund Kynaston, on 31 December 1937.2 He died on 20 April 1964 at age 88, without issue.1
     He was educated at Harrow School, Harrow, London, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military Academy, Woolwich, London, England.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for County Down.2 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Down.2 He lived at Hill House, Hambledon, Hampshire, England.2
