     Colonel Francis Hall was born on 19 February 1876.2 He was the son of Major William James Hall and Florence Selina Brooke.1,2 He married, firstly, Violet Florence Brooke, daughter of Brig.-Gen. Henry Francis Brooke and Ann Isabella Christopher, on 15 July 1919.1 He died on 20 April 1964 at age 88.1
     Colonel Francis Hall gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Artillery.1
