Dorothy Una Clough was born circa 1887.2 She was the daughter of Benson Clough.1 She married, firstly, Charles Frederick Ratcliffe-Brotherton, son of Frederick Edwin Ratcliffe and Florence Anne Brotherton, on 21 September 1909 at St. Stephen's Church, South Kensington, London, England.1 She and Charles Frederick Ratcliffe-Brotherton were divorced in October 1931.1 She married, secondly, Captain Noel McGrigor Phillips in 1932.2 She married, thirdly, Alfred Phillips in 1947.2 She died on 20 November 1967 at Angus House, West Bay, Berwickshire, Scotland.2 She was buried on 7 December 1967 at Temple Sowerby Church, Penrith, Westmorland, England.3
