     William Niven was born in November 1846 at Pershore, Worcestershire, England.1 He was the son of David Graham Niven and Mary Baylis.1 He married Helen Boustead, daughter of Edward Boustead, in August 1876.1 He died after 1901.1
     William Niven was invested as a Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.).1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Berkshire.1 He lived in 1901 at Epsom, Surrey, England.1
