     John Goldsborough Ravenshaw was born in 1777.1 He was the son of John Goldsborough Ravenshaw and Elizabeth Withers.1 He married Hannah Bond, daughter of Charles James Bond and Eleanor Cadden, in 1801. He died in 1840.1
     He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He lived at Harley Street, London, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He was chairman of the Honourable East India Company Service.1
     He also had six daughters.1
