Florence Lalande Ravenshaw was the daughter of John Hurdis Ravenshaw and Harriet Lalande Biggs.1,2 She married Major Albemarle Cator Annesley, son of Captain William Henry Annesley and Lucy Ann Kelly, on 23 November 1901.1 She died on 23 May 1920.1

John Hurdis Ravenshaw was born in 1802.2 He was the son of John Goldsborough Ravenshaw and Hannah Bond.2 He married, firstly, Rose Melley Thuillier, daughter of John Thuillier, Baron de Malaperte, in 1824. He married, secondly, Harriet Lalande Biggs, daughter of Lewis James Biggs, in 1860. He died in 1879.2
John Hurdis Ravenshaw was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, England.2 He was in the Honourable East India Company Service.2 He lived at Derby Lodge, Richmond, Surrey, England.1
