Sir George Edward Leon, 2nd Bt. was born on 7 May 1875.1 He was the son of Sir Herbert Samuel Leon, 1st Bt. and Esther Julia Beddington.1 He married, firstly, Mildred Ethel Jennings, daughter of Louis J. Jennings, on 19 January 1899. He married Anne Dorothy Browne, daughter of Edward Cazalet Browne, on 23 July 1928.1 He died on 14 May 1947 at age 72.1

Sir Herbert Samuel Leon, 1st Bt. was born on 11 February 1850.1 He was the son of George Isaac Leon and Julia Ann Samuel.1 He married, firstly, Esther Julia Beddington, daughter of Edward Henry Beddington, on 4 June 1873. He married, secondly, Fanny Hyman, daughter of David Hyman, on 4 August 1880.1 He died on 23 July 1926 at age 76.1
