     Henry Lewis Raphael was the son of Lewis Raphael and Rachel Mocatta. He married Henrietta Raphael, daughter of John Raphael.2 He died on 11 May 1899.2
     He was a banker and senior partner of Messers. R. Raphael and Sons.2 He lived at 31 Portland Place, London, EnglandG.1

     Sir Herbert Raphael, 1st and last Bt. was born on 23 December 1859.3 He was the son of Henry Lewis Raphael and Henrietta Raphael.1,3 He married Rosalie Coster, daughter of William Frederick Coster, on 5 November 1884.3 He died on 24 September 1924 at age 64.2
     He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1881 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)3 He graduated from Trinity Hall, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, in 1881 with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)3 He was a practising barrister-at-law in 1883.3 He held the office of member of London County Council in 1889.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for South Derbyshire between 1906 and 1918.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Derbyshire.3 He was created 1st Baronet Raphael, of Cavendish Square in the Metropolitan Borough of St. Marylebone [U.K.] on 10 February 1911.3

     Mildred Ethel Jennings was the daughter of Louis J. Jennings.1 She married Sir George Edward Leon, 2nd Bt., son of Sir Herbert Samuel Leon, 1st Bt. and Esther Julia Beddington, on 19 January 1899. She died on 7 March 1951.1
     From 19 January 1899, her married name became Leon.1

     Esther Mildred Leon was born on 16 December 1899.1 She was the daughter of Sir George Edward Leon, 2nd Bt. and Mildred Ethel Jennings.1 She married Major Hon. Philip Plantagenet Cary, son of Lt.-Col. Byron Plantagenet Cary, 12th Viscount of Falkland and Mary Reade, on 20 March 1920.1 She died in 1972.1
     From 20 March 1920, her married name became Cary.1

     Major Hon. Philip Plantagenet Cary was born on 24 September 1895.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Byron Plantagenet Cary, 12th Viscount of Falkland and Mary Reade.1,2 He married Esther Mildred Leon, daughter of Sir George Edward Leon, 2nd Bt. and Mildred Ethel Jennings, on 20 March 1920.1 He died on 21 June 1968 at age 72.2
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He held the office of Bluemantle Pursuivant between 1919 and 1923.2 He held the office of York Herald between 1923 and 1932.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Grenadier Guards.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)2
