Colonel Philip Ralph Davies-Cooke was born on 27 November 1896.3 He is the son of Philip Tatton Davies-Cooke and Doris Donaldson-Hudson.2 He married Kathleen Mabel Davies-Cooke, daughter of William Hugh Davies-Cooke and Mabel Louisa Philips, on 12 June 1924.3 He died on 15 November 1974 at age 77.3
