     Colonel Philip Ralph Davies-Cooke was born on 27 November 1896.3 He is the son of Philip Tatton Davies-Cooke and Doris Donaldson-Hudson.2 He married Kathleen Mabel Davies-Cooke, daughter of William Hugh Davies-Cooke and Mabel Louisa Philips, on 12 June 1924.3 He died on 15 November 1974 at age 77.3
     Colonel Philip Ralph Davies-Cooke was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England.3 He fought in the First World War.3 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 5th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers, Territorial Army.3 He was decorated with the Territorial Decoration (T.D.).3 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Yorkshire Dragoons Yeomanry.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Flintshire in 1923.3 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the West Riding, Yorkshire in 1933.3 He fought in the Second World War.3 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of the West Riding, Yorkshire in 1947.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Flintshire in 1949.3 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1953 in the service of the 4th Battalion, Royal Welsh Fusiliers (Territorial Army).3 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire in 1957.3 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1958.3 He lived at Gwysaney, Mold, Flintshire, Wales.1 He lived at Owston Hall, Doncaster, Yorkshire, England.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.)
