     Brig.-Gen. Arthur David Musgrave was the son of Sir Anthony Musgrave.1 He married Gwendolen Ellora Purey-Cust, daughter of Reverend William Arthur Purey-Cust and Lucy Caroline Jervois, on 4 May 1927.1 He died on 12 September 1931.1
     He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)1 He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in the Royal Field Artillery.1

     Admiral Sir Herbert Edward Purey-Cust was born on 26 February 1857.1 He was the son of Very Rev. Arthur Perceval Purey-Cust and Lady Emma Bess Bligh.1 He married Alice Ella Hepburn, daughter of George Stuart Hepburn, on 29 May 1895.1 He died on 11 November 1938 at age 81.1
     He fought in the Eastern Sudan Campaign between 1884 and 1885.1 He fought in the Boer War between 1899 and 1900.1 He held the office of Hydrographer to the Navy between 1909 and 1914.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1911.1 He gained the rank of Commodore in 1914 in the Royal Naval Reserve.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1919.1

     Sub-Lt. Arthur John Purey-Cust was born on 8 August 1897.1 He was the son of Admiral Sir Herbert Edward Purey-Cust and Alice Ella Hepburn. He died on 17 October 1917 at age 20, killed in action.1
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Sub-Lieutenant in the Royal Navy.1

     Marjorie Purey-Cust also went by the nick-name of Peggy.1
     She was celebrated as the childhood sweetheart of Sir John Betjeman through his mention of her in his autobiography Summoned By Bells.1
