     Anne Brenchley was born circa 1827 at Gravesend, Kent, England.1 She was the daughter of J. Brenchley.1 She married Reverend George Charles Hoste, son of Colonel Sir George Charles Hoste and Lady Mary Burroughs, in 1847 at North Aylesford, Kent, England.1
     From 1847, her married name became Hoste.1
