     Sophia Wilkins was the daughter of unknown Wilkins.1 She married Major George Saville Burdett, son of Sir Charles Burdett, 4th Bt. and Sarah Halsey.1 She died on 21 October 1817 at St. LuciaG, when their barracks collapsed during a hurricane.1
     Her married name became Burdett.

     Captain Jerome Burdett was born on 27 September 1778 at York, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2 He was the son of Sir Charles Burdett, 4th Bt. and Sarah Halsey.1 He married Elizabeth Bulleyn.1 He died in March 1817 at age 38 at Jersey, Channel IslandsG.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Army.1

     Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 6th Bt. was born on 26 December 1806.1 He was the son of Captain Jerome Burdett and Elizabeth Bulleyn.2 He married Harriet Burgess, daughter of William Hugh Burgess and Elizabeth Burdett, on 31 December 1834 at Buckland, Kent, EnglandG.2 He died on 25 August 1848 at age 41, on the way from India to England, while on sick leave.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the 41st Madras Native Infantry.2 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] in December 1839.1
     He also had two daughters.1

     Harriet Burgess was born on 25 November 1807.2 She was the daughter of William Hugh Burgess and Elizabeth Burdett.1,2 She was baptised on 28 January 1808 at St. Edmund the King Church, London, EnglandG.2 She married Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 6th Bt., son of Captain Jerome Burdett and Elizabeth Bulleyn, on 31 December 1834 at Buckland, Kent, EnglandG.2 She died on 21 July 1851 at age 43 at Kentish Town, St. Pancras, London, EnglandG.2 She died intestate and her estate was administered in April 1852.2
     From 31 December 1834, her married name became Burdett.

     Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 7th Bt. was born on 4 November 1835 at Seconderabad, IndiaG.2 He was the son of Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 6th Bt. and Harriet Burgess.1 He married Grace Grant, daughter of Charles Grant and Isabella Rattray, on 4 April 1871.1 He died in March 1890 at age 54 at Napier, New ZealandG.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] on 25 August 1848.1 He was commissioned in 1855, in the service of the 52nd Foot.2 He retired from the military in 1862, with the rank of Lieutenant, late of the 52nd Regiment.1

     Grace Grant was born circa 1847 at Scotland.2 She was the daughter of Charles Grant and Isabella Rattray.1,2 She married Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 7th Bt., son of Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 6th Bt. and Harriet Burgess, on 4 April 1871.1 She died on 6 October 1916 at Dannevirke, New Zealand.2
     From 4 April 1871, her married name became Burdett.

     Sir Charles Grant Burdett, 8th Bt. was born in 1875 at Waikato, New Zealand.2,3 He was the son of Sir Charles Wentworth Burdett, 7th Bt. and Grace Grant.1 He married Annie Hay, daughter of Robert Hay and Frederica Coventry, on 25 April 1902 at Registrar's Office, Dunedin, New Zealand.1,3 He died on 20 November 1918.1
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Burdett, of Birthwaite, co. York [E., 1665] in March 1890.1 He was educated at Otago University, Dunedin, New ZealandG, Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.)2
