     Hon. Richard Westenra was born on 15 October 1893.1 He was the son of Derrick Warner William Westenra, 4th/5th Baron Rossmore of Monaghan and Mittie Naylor.1 He married, firstly, Alice Florence Blacker-Douglas, daughter of Maxwell Vandeleur Blacker-Douglas and Alice McGeogh, on 24 November 1919.1 He and Alice Florence Blacker-Douglas were divorced in 1936.1 He married, secondly, Margaret Cecilia Sullivan Edgcombe, daughter of Reverend George Sullivan Edgcombe, on 12 October 1936.1 He died on 26 July 1944 at age 50.1
     Hon. Richard Westenra gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Irish Guards.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Flying Corps.1
