     William James Maitland was born on 22 July 1847.2 He was the son of Augustus Maitland and Elizabeth Jane Richards.3 He married Agnes Magdalene Neville-Grenville, daughter of Ralph Neville-Grenville and Julia Roberta Frankland-Russell, on 7 August 1878.1 He died on 8 May 1919 at age 71.
     He was Dep Government Dir Indian –1912 Rlwys 1892.2 He was invested as a Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.).1

     Vice-Admiral Robert Wilbraham Stopford was born on 24 June 1844.2 He was the son of Admiral Robert Fanshawe Stopford and Emily Anna Wilbraham.2 He married Ethelreda Neville-Grenville, daughter of Ralph Neville-Grenville and Julia Roberta Frankland-Russell, on 23 September 1885.1 He died on 9 June 1911 at age 66.2
     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.2

     Admiral Robert Fanshawe Stopford was born on 19 December 1811.1 He was the son of Admiral Hon. Sir Robert Stopford and Mary Fanshawe.1 He married, firstly, Emily Anna Wilbraham, daughter of Captain William Wilbraham, on 31 August 1843.1 He married, secondly, Lucy Hester Hornby, daughter of Admiral Sir Phipps Hornby and Maria Sophia Burgoyne, on 1 June 1865.1 He died on 4 January 1891 at age 79.1
     He gained the rank of Admiral in the service of the Royal Navy.1

     Colonel Lawrence Chenevix Trench was born on 24 March 1883.1 He was the son of Colonel Charles Chenevix Trench and Emily Mary Lefroy.1 He married Winifred Ross Tootal, daughter of Edward Henry Tootal, on 15 June 1908.1 He died on 11 November 1958 at age 75.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Royal Engineers.1 He was decorated with the award of the Companion, Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.1 He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1919.1 He was Assistant Quartermaster-General of the Northern Command, India between 1933 and 1937.1 He was decorated with the award of the Legion of Honour.1
