Hon. Hester Frances Smith was the daughter of Robert Smith, 1st Baron Carrington of Upton and Anne Boldero-Barnard.2 She married Rt. Hon. Sir Henry Watkin Williams-Wynn, son of Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn, 4th Bt. and Charlotte Grenville, on 30 September 1813.1 She died on 5 March 1854.1

Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie, 1st Bt. was born on 9 June 1783.1 He was the son of Reverend Peter Bellinger Brodie and Sarah Collins.1 He married Anne Sellon, daughter of Baker John Sellon and Charlotte Dickinson, on 21 March 1816 at St. James' Church, Westminster, London, England.1,2 He died on 19 October 1862 at age 79.1
Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie, 1st Bt. held the office of Serjeant-Surgeon to HM King William IV.1 He was created 1st Baronet Brodie, of Boxford, co. Suffolk [U.K.] on 30 August 1834.1 He was awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Civil Laws (D.C.L.).1 He was invested as a Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.).1 He held the office of Serjeant-Surgeon to HM Queen Victoria.1 He held the office of President of the Royal Society.1
