     Captain Jonathan Cecil Appleyard-List was born on 31 July 1935.1 He was the son of Cecil Rhodes List.1 He married Hon. Caroline Elizabeth Arbuthnot, daughter of David George Arbuthnot and Dorothy Elizabeth Kemeys-Tynte, Baroness Wharton, on 10 October 1970.1 He died on 9 August 2008 at age 73.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.1 He was invested as a Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.).1

Hugh Frederick Bateman-Champain and Dorothy Gertrude Arbuthnot.1 She married Alfred Basil Brailsford Woodburn on 22 June 1937.1 She died on 4 May 1980 at age 65 at South Africa, murdered.1
      From 22 June 1937, her married name became Woodburn.1
