     Elizabeth Ann Sale was the daughter of Edward Little Sale.1 She married, firstly, Thomas Chambers Windsor Roe, son of John Valentine Roe, before 1955. She married, secondly, John Albert Lister Denison, 8th Baron Londesborough, son of Hon. Harold Albert Denison and Katherine Lister, on 15 June 1957.1 She died in 1994.1
     From before 1957, her married name became Roe.1 From 15 June 1957, her married name became Denison.1 After her marriage, Elizabeth Ann Sale was styled as Baroness Londesborough on 31 October 1967.

     John Albert Lister Denison, 8th Baron Londesborough was born on 30 May 1901.1 He was the son of Hon. Harold Albert Denison and Katherine Lister.2 He married, firstly, Lesley Maxwell Gordon Churchill, daughter of Lt.-Col. Herbert Forbes Churchill, on 8 January 1949.1 He and Lesley Maxwell Gordon Churchill were divorced in 1953.1 He married, secondly, Elizabeth Ann Sale, daughter of Edward Little Sale, on 15 June 1957.1 He died on 5 April 1968 at age 66.1
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.1 He was registered as a Associate Member, Institution of Civil Engineers (A.M.I.C.E.)1 He fought in the Second World War, in Royal Artillery and Royal Electricial and Mechanical Engineers.1 He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)1 He succeeded as the 8th Baron Londesborough, in the East Riding, co. York [U.K., 1850] on 31 October 1967.1
