     Sir John Emerich Henry Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 3rd Baron Acton of Aldenham was born on 15 December 1907.² He was the son of Sir Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon.¹ He married Hon. Daphne Strutt, daughter of Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Lady Mary Hilda Clements, on 25 November 1931.² He died on 23 January 1989 at age 81.²

Richard William Heribert Peter Lyon-Dalberg-Acton was born on 21 February 1909.¹ He was the son of Sir Richard Maximilian Lyon-Dalberg-Acton, 2nd Baron Acton of Aldenham and Dorothy Lyon.¹ He married Jill Ehlert, daughter of Hugo C. Ehlert, on 16 December 1937.¹ He died on 7 September 1946 at age 37 at near Bathurst, Gambia, killed in a plane crash.¹
