     Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place was born on 28 August 1875.1 He was the son of John William Strutt, 3rd Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place and Evelyn Georgiana Mary Balfour. He married, firstly, Lady Mary Hilda Clements, daughter of Robert Bermingham Clements, 4th Earl of Leitrim and Lady Winifred Coke, on 5 July 1905.2 He married, secondly, Kathleen Alice Coppin-Straker, daughter of John Coppin-Straker, on 8 July 1920. He died on 13 December 1947 at age 72.
     Robert John Strutt, 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).3 He was Fellow, Royal Society (F.R.S.) (subsequently 4th Baron Rayleigh).3 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.).3 He gained the title of 4th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place.

     Cosmo George Gordon, 3rd Duke of Gordon was born circa 1721.2 He was the son of Alexander Gordon, 2nd Duke of Gordon and Lady Henrietta Mordaunt.1 He married Lady Catherine Gordon, daughter of William Gordon, 2nd Earl of Aberdeen and Lady Susan Murray, on 3 September 1741 at Dunkeld, Perthshire, Scotland.3,2 He died on 5 August 1752 at Bretueil, France.3,2
