     Gerald Hastings Crichton McDouall was born on 1 October 1855.1 He was the son of John Crichton Stuart McDouall and Ellen Maria Fitzgerald.1 He married Florence Isabel Stacy, daughter of H. P. Stacy, in 1889.1 He died in 1909, without issue.1

     Herbert Crichton McDouall was born on 19 February 1860.1 He was the son of John Crichton Stuart McDouall and Ellen Maria Fitzgerald.1 He married Hester Maria Corry Hartigan, daughter of C. S. Hartigan, in 1899.1 He died on 3 February 1947 at age 86.1
     Herbert Crichton McDouall graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, with a Diploma of Public Health (D.P.M.).1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.).1 He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh (M.R.C.S.E.).1 He was decorated with the Silver Jubilee Medal in 1935.1
